History

STRIM was founded in 2000. From the very beginning we work in the field of development and production of electronic modules and control systems for specialized vehicles.

The history of our company began in 2000. The company was founded by young electrical engineers, our first office was based in the Technology Park in Republic of Belarus, Mogilev.
From the very beginning, the company has positioned itself as a developer of innovative electronic control systems. The Technology Park as a first host played a significant role in the formation of STRIM provided support at the initial stage of development of the company. First orders of the company were small projects in the field of automation of various technological processes of food industry enterprises in Belarus.

The intensive development of STRIM started in 2002-2003 when we launched joint projects along with the largest producer of mining vehicles in Belarus – “BELAZ “. Our company staff at this time were only 10 people. The company’s specialists have created a digital control system for the traction electric drive of the 130 T and 220 T mining dump trucks. That system helped to solve the problem of trucks management and service. The developed control system has shown excellent test performance and high reliability. BELAZ began to receive orders for new trucks with the new control system, and since 2003 STRIM is a control systems supplier to the main conveyor of BELAZ. The company invested all operating profit in the development of new projects.

In 2005-2009 an electronic control system for automatic transmissions of mining dump trucks and special vehicles was developed. Since 2010, the systems have been supplied to the conveyors of BELAZ.

From 2010 to 2012, the company is building a new production facility in Mogilev. Modern offices and production facilities have been built. The new facilities include modern lines for automatic soldering of electronic components and quality, state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machines and machining centers. Our stuff has grown to 50 people.

Nowadays the company has research and production departments, which include electrical and mechanical engineers, programmers, designers. Our team is ready to create a new innovative product in a short time.

From 2012 to 2016 STRIM develops new directions: are electronic control systems for utility vehicles, suspension control systems, tire pres-sure monitoring. We increase our client base and supply products to MAZ.
